Black People, We Have Some Serious Discussions Here

Angry black women

Alright, family, let’s get real. This election has been a wake-up call, though if we’re honest with ourselves, none of this is new. The same forces, the same players, and the same old strategies to hold us down—it’s exhausting, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. And as I sit here, fired up and frustrated, I know one thing for sure: it’s time for us to come together, to draw on our history, and to push forward with a strength and purpose that they can’t take from us. If you just look around Black women are organizing and creating Black 2025 agenda. We are not playing and we will protect our own at all cost.

The Resilience of Black People in the Face of Propaganda

The resilience of Black men and women is unmatched. Despite every attempt to break us down, divide us, and drown our voices in propaganda, we’ve continued to show up, time and time again. They tried to plant doubt, spread misinformation, and make us question our own worth and our right to vote, but guess what? We showed up anyway. According to the latest stats, Black voter turnout was solid, with more than 80% of Black registered voters standing firm in their support for Kamala Harris. We showed up because we know what’s at stake; we understand that our presence at the polls is a declaration that we won’t be erased or ignored.

And it wasn’t just Black women who made that happen. Black men stood by us, right there in the fight. This was a team effort, a family effort, and it was a testament to our collective strength. It’s a reminder that when we stand together, we’re a force that can’t be shaken. This resilience is in our DNA, it’s been passed down to us, and it’s what will carry us forward.

Now it's time to cast out the ones that cause divide and hate within our own, stop listening to the podcasts, booking them for shows, don't even talk to them. Let's put them out and push them to the side they want to be on. they are the poison to our community we are all responsible for what goes on in our community and we have become complacent in not standing as a group, and going against us , and that's why you see such a divide in every area of Black Americans. done to raising our kids.

The Impact of Marginalized Communities Voting Against Their Own Interests

Be honest, some of the outcomes this election were frustrating. Other marginalized communities chose to vote for Trump, backing him go directly against the rights and interests of people like us and them. Some folks are blinded by promises that won’t serve them or by short-term gains that will ultimately lead to long-term setbacks. We see it time and time again—folks pushing for a system that isn’t made to protect them, a system that never has and likely never will. Once a criminal always a criminal, they open their arms to it now they have to deal with the consequences, we will not help. You chose it you stay their.

Many were swayed by economic promises or by promises of a stronger immigration policy, not realizing that the very policies they support often come with strings attached—strings that tie them down and pull them further from equality and freedom. Even when the man said everything they wanted to hear in racism, because they thought it would affect black people, not knowing we've been here before many time we know what coming for them, It’s heartbreaking, but it’s not our job to sit and wait for others to see the light. We’re here to secure our own future, to look after our own communities, and to keep moving forward, no matter who chooses to stand with us.

The Power of Unity and Community-Building

This is why unity is everything. Family, this is a time for us to be intentional about supporting each other and building up our own communities. This isn’t just talk—it’s about where we spend our money, where we invest our time, and where we place our trust. It’s about buying from Black-owned businesses, keeping our dollars circulating within our communities, and mentoring our youth so they understand the power they hold.

When we talk about unity, it’s not just about voting. It’s about making sure our neighborhoods are supported and that we’re building something lasting for the next generation. Our dollars are powerful—we have trillions in buying power, and when we direct that power toward our own, we’re building a future that no one else can define for us. We’re reclaiming our narrative, creating a foundation that is rooted in us and not in anyone else’s expectations or limitations.

Our History of Dealing with America: From Slavery to 2024

Now, let’s take a minute to remember where we come from. Black history in America is one of strength, resistance, and resilience. From slavery to Jim Crow, from the Civil Rights Movement to today, we have been fighting this fight for freedom, equality, and respect since day one. They enslaved us, broke up our families, and tried to erase our history. They tried to strip us of our identity, make us believe we were less than, and take away our voice. And yet, here we are, in 2024, still standing strong.

Our ancestors didn’t just survive; they laid the groundwork for us to keep pushing forward. They built Black Wall Street, a community of Black-owned businesses and wealth that was vibrant, prosperous, and thriving—until it was destroyed. But even after that, we continued to rebuild, to organize, and to demand more. Every single step of our journey has been met with resistance, yet every time they try to hold us down, we come back stronger.

Now, they want to erase our history again. They want to ban our books, silence our voices, and make us invisible. But we won’t let them. We know where we come from, we know who we are, and we know how to fight back. Our ancestors taught us well, and we’re not about to let their lessons go to waste.

A Call to Focus on Our Own Strength, Businesses, and Independence

So, what do we do now? Family, it’s time to focus on us. We don’t need a government that doesn’t represent us; we need each other. Let’s invest in our own businesses, build our own communities, and take control of our own future. Let’s create opportunities for our children, pass down the knowledge, and empower each other to be self-reliant and successful.

We’ve done it before, and we can do it again. Black Wall Street was just the beginning. Imagine what we can build with the resources we have today—our skills, our talents, our buying power. We don’t need validation from anyone else. We are more than capable of creating a future that is rich, vibrant, and ours.

It’s Time to Fight the Power That Be

Now, I’m not talking about a physical fight, yet. I’m talking about using everything we have to stand up to a system that was never meant to serve us. Let’s “fight the power” with our voices, our knowledge, and our resilience. Let’s support each other like never before, let’s lift each other up, and let’s refuse to let anyone tell us who we are or what we can achieve.

Grab your books, teach your kids, and remember the lessons our ancestors passed down. They tried to silence us before, but we’re still here. And we’re louder, stronger, and more unified than ever. It’s time to let those who voted against us reap what they’ve sown, and it’s time for us to build and fight like we’ve never fought before.

Let’s burn this mutha down with our skills, our community, our talents, and our money. They may control the system, but we control our future. History has shown us who they are, and we know exactly what to expect. But this time, we’re ready. Nothing’s changed but the players. We’re still here, and we’re not going anywhere.
